Bridging a River of Good Intentions: ASPA Presentation

QIC-WD staff presented a workshop at the Annual Conference for the American Society for Public Administration on March 12th in Denver, Colorado. Around 1300 public administrators, public administration students, and public administration scholars attend this conference each year. The session titled, “Bridging a River of Good Intentions: Building Research Evidence on Public Child Welfare Workforce Development Practices” was endorsed by the Section on Personnel and Labor Relations. The presenters reviewed the current landscape of the child welfare workforce and related interventions, including research and practice. Workshop participants expressed appreciation that the QIC-WD is addressing pertinent and timely workforce issues in the field of child welfare.
