It is Important to Clearly Describe a Workforce Intervention Before You Evaluate It

Anita smiling and talkingThe Quality Improvement Center for Workforce Development (QIC-WD) defines a workforce intervention as a structured set of activities aimed at solving an identified cause of frontline worker turnover. Some QIC-WD sites are creating interventions whereas others are adapting one that was created in another setting. Regardless of the intervention, they all include the four key components that are the hallmark of strong interventions (Wandersman, 2009).
