Anita smiling and talkingThe Quality Improvement Center for Workforce Development (QIC-WD) defines a workforce intervention as a structured set of activities aimed at solving an identified cause of frontline worker turnover. Some QIC-WD sites are creating interventions whereas others are adapting one that was created in another setting. This short summary, written by QIC-WD evaluation lead, Dr. Anita Barbee, further describes the expectations for the QIC-WD sites to clearly define their intervention for implementation and evaluation purposes.
